Wind Talker Innovations, Inc. Named Most Fundable Company

by Pepperdine Graziadio Business School

October 16, 2020, LOS ANGELES – Wind Talker Innovations, Inc. (WTI) is thrilled to announce that it was awarded a BRONZE designation on the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School’s third annual Most Fundable Companies® List. Wind Talker Innovations, Inc. competed against over 4,500 early-stage U.S. startups spanning all 50 states, all with less than $10 million in annual revenue to be named among a list of twenty. Receiving the award is not just a great achievement for the WTI team, but it’s also a clear testament to the fact that our efforts to bring innovative and revolutionary solutions to the mobile communications industry is being acknowledged, accepted, and rewarded.

The Most Fundable Companies initiative is designed to educate founders on the investor diligence process and recognize exceptional entrepreneurs who are solving today’s problems with inventive solutions and are also seeking investment capital to fuel their company’s growth.

Wind Talker is a pioneering technology company, founded in 2016 to pursue our vision of using existing network equipment and architecture in unconventional ways to provide enhanced, unrestricted and secure data communications around the globe. We are rapidly growing with new funding, expert personnel, and accelerating technology development. Wind Talker Innovations currently has hundreds of approved patent claims that make up our secret sauce.

Our flagship product, Osmosis, allows radio-enabled devices – which are in our homes, cars, offices, pockets, and on our wrists – to securely connect to one another, creating an independent network superstructure that can keep us connected without the need for cell towers or infrastructure.

“Since starting Wind Talker in 2016, we’ve been focused on solving todays communication issues with existing technology, by reimagining the way we connect.  We have reinvented the communication layer so that its software based and can simply change the way that we talk to each other and access cellular and internet networks. The Most Fundable Companies initiative provided us with a data-driven analysis that has enhanced our company strategy and has already been incorporated into our fundraising activities,” said Matt Perdew, CEO and Cofounder. “The process that Pepperdine Graziadio Business School has developed in order to recognize entrepreneurs throughout the country and provide resources to assist startups in securing private capital to accelerate meaningful innovation across industries and communities, is incredible! They have put together a system that vets companies and provides useful feedback to founders in real terms of how they market themselves – not only to investors, but in how they present information to the marketplace. We are extremely grateful to be considered among the list of winners!”

The Most Fundable Companies initiative involved a multi-phase assessment that evaluated several company variables including financial projections, market opportunity, intellectual property and the strength of the management team, all of which were used to produce a fundability score. The Pepperdine Most Fundable Companies were evaluated and selected based on their readiness for private investment. Most Fundable Companies is powered by The Venture Alliance.

As a winner on the Most Fundable Companies List, Wind Talker Innovations, Inc. will be profiled on Entrepreneur.com and will be featured in the December print issue of the magazine.
