September 16, 2021 Quantico, VA - This month, Wind Talker Innovations assisted response efforts to the DoD Afghan Refugee crisis at Camp Upshur, Quantico, Virginia. Within two days of deploying our Osmosis®-enabled equipment with a major telecom company, we helped to build a mesh network that provides broadband WiFi connectivity for Afghan asylum seekers. Families are now able to communicate to find loved ones at other locations, and can start to figure out how to manage and cope with what they’ve just experienced.

Our technologies enable network providers to extend their coverage at the edge and beyond, without costly and timely deployments, through our software-defined networking solution called Osmosis. It was built from the ground up to coordinate AI/machine learning and data fusion in the battle space, so it's equipped to handle any emergency situation.
Bringing connectivity to urgent situations and supporting crisis response are core values at Wind Talker. Response teams and affected communities need to be able to stay connected, no matter how much traffic is traversing the networks — which tends to escalate in crisis situations and can cause the network to fracture. Wind Talker Innovations is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business (SDVOSB) and we are proud to participate in these impactful efforts with our technology.
